We were asked to do these jerseys for the Caloundra Off Road Cycling Association (CORCA), a dedicated group of mountain bikers making some real headway for mountain biking in the Sunshine Coast region. With an upcoming mtb expo they were hosting, notoriety for their trail building prowess and respect in working with relevant land managers, it was time to get some CORCA kit organised.
The East Coast MTB Riders is a Facebook group based in Sydney and is populated with a fun loving bunch of folks that get together regularly each weekend for a variety of mountain biking adventures.
They had a basic logo sorted but needed us to just bring up a notch for them, which we did. Given the basic colours to work with, we set out to create a grungy style look that featured their logo clearly but also blended it into the over design as well.
The Hunter Mountain Bike Association is the oldest mtb club in NSW, so it was an honour when they chose us to create a new design for their riding kit.
On the menu were long sleeve jerseys for their downhill and gravity riders, as well as a short sleeve jersey and bib-knick kit. Some of the girls wanted a different, more feminine colour choice, so we catered to that requirement as well.
The result is a bright, instantly recognisable design featuring strong elements from their logo on a sunset background over an iconic mountain in their region.
This design was created for Johnos Riding Adventures in Newcastle, NSW. They had a white logo but no colours. Looney Parrot took an iconic element from Newcastle city and integrated it into the design to create this strong silhouette based jersey.
